PILATES TRAINING

Tryon Health & Fitness Club offers personal and professional Pilates training at affordable training rates. Our training includes Stott Pilates training on the "Rehab V2 Max Plus" Reformer, and also the "Cadillac/Trapeze Table." Pilates is a series of exercises designed specifically around the body's core, and helps improves balance, posture, flexibility, and overall strength. At Tryon Health & Fitness Club we offer Stott Pilates, which is a contemporary form of Pilates, but instead of the exercises being designed around a straight spine, they're designed around the natural curvature of the spine.

 

Stott Pilates incorporates modern exercise principles centered around biomechanics, rehabilitation, and athletic performance enhancement, and focuses on five basic principles:

 

  • Breathing

  • Pelvic Placement

  • Rib Cage Placement

  • Scalpular Movement

  • Head & Cervical Spine Placement
